Investment Thesis
Resilient Ventures is a committed capital fund that invests in African American Founders leading companies that have determined market fit and are generating revenue. African American Founders are often undervalued, and “Market Inefficiencies” create opportunities for alpha returns. We provide access to founders that are otherwise seen as “Undervalued” and “Underestimated”. Our initial check is $100k and then we follow on as the companies meet their milestones. We lead deals where appropriate. We take board seats. Fund I’s goal was to make 10-12 investments and we are on target. Managing partners in Fund I provided 28% of the committed capital
Industry
We are industry agnostic. We invest in companies where we or our investment committee can add value. We have a line of sight to companies in the RDU, Southeast, Mid Atlantic, and Midwest. We reserve at least 40% of the fund for follow-on funding.

Strategic Partnerships
We have extensive relationships with NC funds and have co-invested with national Black led venture funds. We develop partnerships with these firms as co-investors to ensure that our companies are not only well capitalized but also resourced to scale and be acquired.
